SUPPLIES:
• Seed Beads - Color of Choice
• 6mm or 8mm beads - Color of choice
• 1” Eye and Head Pin
• 3mm Crimp Beads
• Beadalon - 7 strand
• Flat Nose Pliers or Crimping Pliers
• Round Nose Pliers
• Wire Cutters
• Ruler

LARIAT NECKLACES
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Cut cord 36” long. Thread on one crimp bead. Bring tail of cord back through crimp bead,
approximately 1/2”. Make sure there is a small loop and squeeze crimp bead closed.
2) Thread on beads until 1” remains. Thread on one crimp bead. Bring tail down through the
crimp bead, go through the seed beads and squeeze crimp closed. Make sure there is a small
loop at the end of the crimp bead.
3) Make dangles to attach to ends of lariat. Refer to Figures 1, 2 & 3.
* Note: To make yours longer or shorter depends on the length of cord you cut.
WEARING THE LARIAT:
BELT: Wrap around waist and tie like the beginning of a knot. If the lariat is long enough,
fold in half. Bring the two ends through the loop and cinch.
DOUBLE WRAPPED CHOKER: Fold lariat in half. Bring ends through loop. Adjust
lariat to desired length.
BRACELET: Drape center of lariat over wrist. Wrap each side around wrist. Tie ends
together by bringing left over right and through.
DOUBLE WRAPPED: Wrap lariat around neck twice, with either the tails hanging in
the front or back.
OPERA KNOT: Drape lariat around neck with tails in front.
With both tails together make a slip knot. Adjust opening
to desired length.
