Active Sky Evolution Installation Instructions NOTE: You must have a valid key issued during your software purchase, which will be asked for when ASE runs for the first time. The key entered must be associated with a valid purchase record, and an automatic online activation as well as persistent online login verification will be performed in order to prevent piracy. DO NOT SHARE YOUR Key! Your key usage is logged and any use of ASE from another computer using the same key will de-activate your activation. You can move ASE to another computer up to 3 times automatically, after which you must contact HiFi support. 1) Extract all package part contents into any folder (i.e. C:\ASE Install\) and run setup.exe. You'll be asked where to install Active Sky Evolution. We recommend the default location. 2) .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed - if you do not have it currently it will be automatically installed during the setup process. 3) FSX or FS2004 must be installed prior to running this software. 4) After all the above is done/verified, run the included setup.exe file and follow the prompts. 5) An icon will be installed on your desktop which will launch ASE when double-clicked. 6) Run XGauge Installation Wizard, located in your Start/Programs/HiFi/ASE menu, to install the weather gauge into your aircraft. 7) Double click the ASE icon on your desktop and start using Active Sky Evolution!
