Overview
The MSP430-PAD-2 is prototyping adapter to aid in the development of F123 and F122 Family
of Texas Instruments Mixed Signal Microcontrollers. The MSP430-PAD-2 can be mounted
directly on a protoboard or can wire wrap or solder the MSP430-PAD-2 directly to a Perf.
Board.
The MSP430-PAD-2 provides a 2x5 male IDC header for direct connection to the MSP430-
DLA-1 (Downloader Adapter) to act as a pod in your target system. You can download code
and test your prototype as you develop.
The MSP430-PAD-2 comes with an on board 32Khz quartz crystal ideal for developing ultra-
low power real time projects.
The MSP430-PAD-12 is assembled with the MSP430F123IDW that provides the following
features:

Wake-Up from Standby Mode in 6 us
16-Bit RISC Architecture, 125 ns Instruction Cycle Time
