To update turn off internet then start the app and select update, the update window will appear then the update will fail as internet is off, close the app and the update window will remain open, turn internet back on then retry the update, once updates are downloaded and installed close the update window then restart the app, if you get any issues then simply recopy the dll file(s). You can download the updates direct from Adobes website and install them with the app closed also, replacing the dll file again when the update finishes installing.
