3 ADJUSTMENTS AND CHECKS
3-1 TUNER SECTION
Use a screwdriver with a plastic or ceramic grip for all adjustment.
3-1-1 FM adjustment
1. To turn on the power.
2. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to RADIO & FM BAND.
3. Connect a SWEEP SCOPE OUTPUT to pin21 of IC1 through a 20pF capacitor and ground.
4. Connect a SWEEP SCOPE INPUT to pin13 or 14 of IC1through a 1uF capacitor and ground.
5. Connect an RF generator to the FM antenna terminal and ground.
6. Connect a SCOPE & VTVM across the speaker output.
3-1-2 AM adjustment
1. To turn on the power.
2. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR SWITCH to RADIO & AM BAND.
3. Connect a SWEEP SCOPE OUTPUT to AM antenna terminal.
4. Connect a SWEEP SCOPE INPUT to pin13 or 14 of IC1through a 1uF capacitor and ground.
5. Connect an RF generator to a standard radiating loop.
6. Connect a SCOPE & VTVM across the speaker output.
