- I was to the flea market when I was in England. That was a weird experience!
- Why did you go there?
- My friend wanted me to help him to buy a dog there. He said there are a lot of purebred
dogs for a low price. We went to the dog shelter eventually but I bought many strange things
I will probably never use!
- What do you mean?
- There were a lot of salesmen who are good in their work. They were encouraging me to buy
some old dishes, pieces of furniture, paintings, carpets and many things which I wouldn’t be
able to bring to Poland. But I bought some souvenirs for my friends and family.
- What exactly?
- Well, replica of Monnet painting for my mum, an old clock for my dad, some old books for
my flat mateThey weren’t very big and such things are expensive and rare in Poland.
