Electrical Rules Checker (ERC)
analyzes your schematic for
common drafting errors, as well
as invalid electrical connections.
Conditions such as unconnected
power objects, floating input pins,
and output pins connected to input
ports are flagged for your attention,
and a unique electrical rule matrix
makes it easy to change and define
relevant electrical warning and
error conditions. The ERC works
on single sheets or across entire

directly on the schematic and
detailed in a comprehensive
ERC report.
Making the right connections is easy
with Protel 99’s Guided Wiring and
Auto-Junction features. As you wire

special text strings that link to
