From official site: Omnia started making ancient historical music long ago because Sic wanted to re-create the Celtic and Roman sounds of Northern Europe around the end of the Iron Age. He tried to achieve this by using only handcrafted reconstructions of ancient instruments and writing each piece to honour some God or Goddess of the Roman and Celtic Pantheon. After 6 years of making this really simple, extremely correct, historical stuff (performing for all sorts of big European museums), he started to get really fed-up with it, and thought 'fuck history' and started doing what he actually wanted to do. In 2002, Jenny joined Sic and Luka (with her huge, non-Iron-Age Harp), and the new Omnia was born. We chucked out the Roman stuff, and kept the Celtic stuff. Now, when we compose, we concentrate purely on our own Pagan Celtic identity, and translate that into music. We freed the Celtic Spirit from the restrictions of history, that's why the music we make nowadays is called 'Neo-Celtic'. Our ancestors had a deep respect for nature and all the beasts of the wild. But they were beaten into submission by invaders. The Romans and Christians and other monotheistic or money worshipping bastards have been destroying the land for centuries, and now we want it back! 9/10 P.S.
