VIOLENCE PREVENTION AND POLICY SERIES
This Rowman & Littlefield series publishes new books in the multidisciplinary study of violence.
Books are designed to support scientifically based violence prevention programs and widely applica-
ble violence prevention policy. Key topics are juvenile and/or adult community reentry programs,
community-based addiction and violence programs, prison violence reduction programs with applica-
tion in community settings, and school culture and climate studies with recommendations for organi-
zational approaches to school-violence reduction. Studies may combine quantitative and qualitative
methods, may be multidisciplinary, or may feature European research if it has a multinational appli-
cation. The series publishes highly accessible books that offer violence prevention policy as the out-
come of scientifically based research, designed for college undergraduates and graduates, community
agency leaders, school and community decision makers, and senior government policy makers.
