Preface
Purpose of the manual
The information contained in this manual can be used as a reference to operating, to
functions, and to the technical data of the signal modules, power supply modules and
interface modules of the S7-300.
How to install, for example assemble and wire, an S7-300 or ET 200M system using those
modules is described in the relevant manuals for establishing the system.
Basic knowledge required
This manual presumes a general knowledge in the field of automation engineering.
Range of validity of this manual
The manual describes the components based on the data valid at the time of its release.
SIEMENS reserves the right of including a product information for each new module, and for
each module of a later version.
