Tiny Mouse, 2" long, not counting tail

Materials:
-Fingering weight or light sport weight yarn in a nice mousy color. I used a fingering weight yarn with
some mohair in it to give a nice, fuzzy little mouse.
-Size C crochet hook
-One pair 6mm animal eyes.
-Very small amount of fiberfill.
Gauge: not important
Mouse : starting at the nose; do not join rounds
1: Ch2, six sc in second ch from hook. 6sc
2: Sc in each sc around. 6sc.
3: (Sc in next sc, two sc in next) around. 9sc.
4: Sc in each sc around. 9sc.

5: (Sc in next two sc, two sc in next) around. 12sc.
6: Sc in each sc around. 12 sc.
7: (Sc in next sc, two sc in next sc) around. 18sc.
8-14: Sc in each sc around. 18 sc. Insert the eyes between rounds 6 and 7 four to five stitches apart
(whichever looks best to you). Stuff the body lightly.
15: Decrease over the next two stitches around until the body opening is closed. Ch20 for the tail and
fasten off.
Ears: work one ear three rows behind each eye.
1: Working around the stitches of the body, join with a sl st three rows behind the eye. Work 5sc
around the same st, ch1, turn.
2: Work two sc in each sc across, sl st around the next st of the head, ch1, turn.
3: Sc in each sc across, sl st around the next st of the head and fasten off. Bury the yarn ends in the
body of the mouse
