Valley Forge Chess Fireworks
The World Open will be held this year in
Valley Forge, 20 miles outside Philadelphia
from June 29-July 5. A formidable field is
expected to take a crack at the $175,000
minimum/$250,000 projected prize fund,
including Alex Lenderman (pictured to the
right) who earned his final grandmaster
