robotdog.The37-year-oldTokyo-baseddesigner

thedesign.Ifenoughpeoplethenvoteforthe
product,hemakesadealwithamanufacturer
andtheproductismade.

supporttheidea.“Becauseit’sanewthing,
alotofpeoplearepostingideasandsomeof
themarerubbish,”saysTonge.“Butitcanbe
surprising.Therearepeopleoutthere,who
arenotdesigners,withsomegood,interesting
ideas,andsomeofthosemayendupin
theshops.”
