Course: TRIAGE (Together, Ready, Initiate, Activate, Go, Evaluate) Training
Objectives: Upon Completion of the course the requesting facility (agency) can demonstrate effective triage practices of multiple patients both pre-hospital and hospital, describe and demonstrate effective pre-hospital, intra and inter hospital command, control and communications activities during a multiple casualty incident. The emphasis for this particular course will be triage of patients with “traumatic injuries”.
Lesson Plan:
· Traumatic Injuries
· Acute Medical (Jonestown, CO poisoning, etc.)
· Biological (Acute Infectious Disease Outbreak – SARS, Pan Flu, etc.)
2. Implementing the Communications Plan
· Dispatch procedures – responder notification

3. Establish the pre-hospital and/or hospital command
